Psalm 10:8-10

New American Standard Bible

⁸ He sits in the ^(A)lurking places of the villages;
He ^(B)kills the innocent in the secret places;
His eyes ^[a]surreptitiously watch for the ^[b](C)unfortunate.
⁹ He lurks in secret like ^(D)a lion in his ^[c]lair;
He ^(E)lurks to catch ^(F)the needy;
He catches the needy when he pulls him into his ^(G)net.
¹⁰ Then he crushes the needy one, who cowers;
And ^[d]unfortunate people fall by his mighty power.
